For our clients and data principals residing in the European Union (EU) or other jurisdictions with equivalent data protection laws:

  • Data Transfers: We ensure that cross-border transfers of personal data are protected by adequate safeguards as recognized by the relevant authorities.

  • Lawful Processing: We identify a specific lawful basis for every processing activity in accordance with Article 6 of the GDPR.

  • Stricter Standards: In the event of a conflict between the DPDPA and the GDPR regarding a data principal in the EU, Coucal Consulting will apply the higher standard of protection as required by contract or law.
